Why do you wish to serve on the ACC Board of Directors (BOD)?
I find it a wonderful group to work with. I have a desire to make the ACC larger and more visible in the community and beyond.

What personal and professional strength can you bring to the BOD?
Good management and people skills along with a desire to make any endeavor a success.

What issues do you see the ACC facing in the next 12 months / 3 years / 5 years and what remedies would you recommend?
Relevence is going to be huge I believe. We need to continue our outreach to new and possibly younger audiences. We must recruit new members and make sure they understand the financial situation. They must know that fund raising and ticket sales are our life blood. I'd love to see the chorale with a consistant 100+ voice presence.

Getting people to work and give time to the chorale in groups, raising money programs, etc

Help develop real communication and mutual sharing among chorale members especially between chorale and board.

What personal and professional strength can you bring to the BOD?
Diversity of , mutual respect, knowledge and experience of one way communication or lack thereof. I miss council corners and time alloted for all voices to be heard.

What issues do you see the ACC facing in the next 12 months / 3 years / 5 years and what remedies would you recommend?
Build a Chorale with free expression of thoughts and ideas. Less top down decision making. More focus on building Chorale fellowship and less on financial concerns. Less focus on alcohol / drinking at social / past concert events.

Earning enough revenue to meet expenses. Grant applications, fund raising such as gift cards. Immediate -- more tenors. Increase recruiting.

Very impressed with the mission and vision of the ACC, passionate about music and the commitment to share music with like minded individuals who love to sing for others.

Communication, marketing, project and program management; strong people skills. Negotiation strategy that can drive growth and sustainment.

What issues do you see the ACC facing in the next 12 months / 3 years / 5 years and what remedies would you recommend?
Good progress with marketing this year but proactive planning will need to improve; need greater reach with larger untapped populations; encouraging each member to own our non-profit status and get excited about efforts to strengthen member commitment will move mountains
