What does the Chorale wear for concerts?
Good question! The following is an outline of concert attire items for both formal and informal concerts.

Formal Concerts (Concert Black):

MEN
Black Tux; White pleated (NOT Ruffled) tuxedo shirt; black bowtie; black socks; black dress shoes

WOMEN
Existing long black concert dress / black dress slacks / floor-length black skirt paired with a black "V" neck 3/4 or long sleeve top (to be approved by committee); black stocking; black close-toed dress shoes.
NOTE: Tops MUST be "V" neck.

Not So Formal Concerts (Jewel Tones):

MEN
Plain long sleeved jewel-tone button down dress shirt in the following colors:
Magenta, Ruby Red, Emerald Green, Sapphire Blue, Amethyst Purple, Turquoise blue, Tourmaline Green, Tiffany Blue (no orange, yellow or gold tones)
Black dress slacks; black undershirt; black socks; black dress shoes; black suspenders (optional)

WOMEN
Dressy jewel-tone blouse that is either 3/4 length or long sleeved in the following colors:
Magenta, Ruby Red, Emerald Green, Sapphire Blue, Amethyst Purple, Turquoise blue, Tourmaline Green, Tiffany Blue (no orange, yellow or gold tones).
The blouse should not look like a tee shirt.
Black dress slacks or black floor-length skirt; black / flesh colored stockings; black close-toed dress shoes.
