Since its inception in 1977, The Arvada Chorale had been a volunteer, resident company sponsored by the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. The Chorale has steadily evolved from a handful of volunteer, non-auditioned singers to a company of about seventy auditioned singers. From 1977 to the present, the Chorale has offered an annual concert series which includes holiday, spring and summer concerts. In addition, the Chorale has presented special performances throughout the metro area, Colorado and internationally. The Arvada Chorale became an independent Colorado non-profit corporation in January of 2008 and obtained status as a 501(c)(3) corporation in March of 2009.
The stated mission of the Arvada Chorale is to bring joy and enrichment to the Front Range community through beautiful choral music. The vision of the Arvada Chorale is that we will be a vital, thriving organization committed to musical excellence; and, as a noteworthy provider of cultural value and goodwill, the Chorale will be an integral part of the Front Range community.
